Fitment
This driveshaft is for the A340E (Stock Automatic) Transmission for the 2JZ-GTE. This is for if you have a 2JZ-GTE conversion in the US. But it fits factory S160's and S161's that came factory equipped with the twin turbo 2JZ-GTE.
Construction
All of these come with a billet adapter to adapt to the A340E Transmission. This adapter fits the 3 prong transmission outlet flange.
The driveshaft is made from 4130 Chromoly Steel and has a slip joint in the front area for installation and fitment variation.
The rear end flange is of the 3 prong style for the Toyota rear ends, or 1350 U-joint for the Ford 9"
Rear End Options
We build these to the stock Toyota 200mm rear end, Toyota 220mm (6 speed Supra TT) rear end, or the Ford 9" rear end. Each one needs some attention paid to it.
- The Stock 200mm rear end in non-turbo gs300 (as equipped in all U.S. GS300's) has a smaller companion flange. It will need to be swapped to the larger companion flange found in the GS400, GS430 or Twin Turbo Supra Automatic.
- The 220mm rear end swapped from the Twin Turbo 6 speed Supra will fit without changing the companion flange. This rear end is a direct swap into the GS300, but you will need to also swap the axles.
- Ford 9" conversions will have a 1350 u-joint pinion yoke that this driveshaft will adapt to. We include the 1350 joint, but not the yoke.
