Use Case

Race engines not running a front timing cover. This is common in drag racing circles where serviceability is paramount. Not running the front timing cover allows access to timing components without have to pull the crank damper. This timing pointer still allows this access. 

Damper Compatibility

Works with OEM and oversized crank dampers (such as ATI)

 


Dowel

Because the base of the timing pointer bolts to a single bolt hole, an optional dowel pin is included to prevent rotation—customer can drill a small dowel hole during install. Please see instructions

Adjustability

Pointer position is adjustable—must be set manually during installation using TDC reference. See instructions on how to set TDC.
