Storage and Shipping
These products are designed to protect and engine during storage. While we do see a use for using this in shipping, if they are to be used for protection during shipment, you should not use the included plastic hardware and instead change them out to metal hardware instead. Keep in mind, these are not particularly strong, and can quite easily be damaged during the shipping process.

Material
Reasons we chose to 3D print this from PLA. ( Polylactic Acid)
- Durability – PLA is able to withstand temp up to 230 degrees, which is higher than the temperature your engine is being stored at
- Corrosive-resistant – PLA is a plastic, so it does not run the risk of corrosion like a metal. This can be invaluable when being used for protecting parts.
- Cost-effectiveness – PLA is a very common material. It’s easy to create in a lab and the manufacturing process is simple. This makes it inexpensive to create parts using PLA. A lower cost of production means lower cost to the consumer.
