Wiring Instructions for Dual or Triple Pump Harness

Wiring Instructions for Dual or Triple Pump Harness

There are for different areas of connection: 1. Battery, 2. Pumps, and 3. Triggers

1.       BATTERY

Route to front of car and connect directly to Battery + or to fuse box where Main Power from battery attaches.

2.        PUMPS

There will be two or three red large gauge wires (12 gauge) that are a longer length (about 6 ft). Route to fuel pump hanger and attach to the fuel pump positive wires. Each wire goes to one pump.

3.       TRIGGERS

Depending on your ECU you may want to trigger in one of two different ways:

A.      NEGATIVE TRIGGER

If triggering from Low Side Drivers from your ecu, wire the small gauge red wires to a 12v switched source. Run the small gauge black wires each to its own Low Side Driver at the ECU. Use the ECU to control the fuel pumps.

B.      POSITIVE TRIGGER

If triggering from High Side Drivers from your ecu, wire the small gauge black wires to ground. Run the small gauge red wires each to its own High Side Driver at the ECU. Use the ECU to control the fuel pumps.

The functionality should be as such:

One pump should be run like a normal fuel pump. It should activate for priming and for vehicle running and everyday driving.

The second and third pumps should be staged to activate at increasing boost pressures. Generally, these are controlled using a general output or auxiliary output.
