These instructions are for the following throttle cable setups:
PHR Stainless Throttle Cable for Factory Twin Turbo Intake Manifold
PHR Stainless Throttle Cable for Factory Non Turbo Intake Manifold
PHR Stainless Throttle Cable for Hypertune Intake Manifold
PHR Stainless Throttle Cable for Greddy Intake Manifold
PHR Stainless Throttle Cable for Virtual Works Intake Manifold

Your Powerhouse Racing Throttle Cable will need a few parts from your existing throttle cable in your car whether you are just upgrading your factory cable or doing a twin turbo conversion. You can use parts from a non-turbo throttle cable or twin turbo throttle cable, the parts you will need will be the same. These parts are also on the factory throttle cable from the SC300.

Here are the parts you will need:

1.       Steel Bracket with Pedal Stop

2.       Rubber Insulator with two holes in it

3.       Pedal Bushing w/ Retaining Clip

Here are the steps needed to remove these from your factory throttle cable and install them onto the PHR Throttle Cable

Step 1

Pry the steel bracket from the Rubber Insulator and remove it from the throttle cable

Step 2

Remove the Rubber Insulator from the throttle cable. Be careful not to tear the insulator. Just gently push it through the holes and slide it off of the throttle cable.

Step 3

Cut the cable on the factory throttle cable and remove the Pedal Bushing with Retaining Clip. You will need a good pair of cutters or a cutting wheel to do this.

Step 4

Install the Rubber Insulator onto the PHR Throttle Cable.

Step 5

Install the Steel Bracket onto the PHR Throttle Cable

Step 6

Remove the Pedal-End Cable Stop from the PHR Throttle cable. Make note to its position prior to removal as it should come at the proper length.

Step 7

Slide Pedal Bushing with Retaining clip onto the PHR Throttle Cable

Step 8

Reinstall the Pedal-End Cable Stop onto the PHR Throttle Cable.

After installing the cable onto the car, make any necessary adjustments by moving the Pedal End Cable stop to give or remove slack in the cable.
