From Toy Cars to Turbochargers: Moe Ibrahim’s Early Automotive Obsession
Moe Ibrahim, a Los Angeles native, has been an automotive enthusiast since before he could even speak. His fascination with cars began around the age of two, with Hot Wheels and die-cast models being his first "projects." From early on, Moe took apart and reassembled his toy cars, captivated by the sounds and mechanics. Growing up with no gearhead role models, Moe naturally embraced the car culture on his own, modifying toys and drawing inspiration from Import Tuner magazines. This passion soon evolved, culminating in the purchase of his 1994 Toyota Supra in 2010.

The Supra Build: A Manifestation of Imagination
Moe's Supra wasn’t always a head-turner. It was a non-turbo model, rough around the edges, and not particularly sought after. Yet, Moe saw its potential. Over the years, he transformed it into a powerhouse with a fully built 3.0L 2JZ-GTE engine, countless billet components, and a custom aero design. His hands-on approach means that every modification, from the custom aero by Aeroflow Dynamics to the intricate engine build, was painstakingly planned and executed in his own garage.
This Supra isn’t just a car; it’s a testament to Moe’s dedication. With over 1200 horsepower projected once completed, Moe is building what he considers the ultimate street car, one that can glide into a show and steal the spotlight.

The Unique and the Personal
Moe's Supra boasts molded body parts that give it a distinct look, subtly enhancing the lines of the car while maintaining its iconic JDM feel. Moe takes immense pride in the one-off custom aero pieces, a favorite topic among admirers at car meets. These aren’t just modifications; they’re expressions of Moe’s creativity, carefully crafted with the help of trusted friends.
For Moe, this car is more than just a machine—it’s a life companion. It has accompanied him through life’s highs and lows, even surviving a theft in 2011. Luckily, the car was returned, cementing the bond between Moe and his Supra. As he says, “If you love something, let it go, and if it comes back, it’s meant to be.” This car is a reflection of that sentiment, a lifelong love affair that he can’t imagine ending.

Building a Legacy, Inspiring the World
Owning and building his Supra has connected Moe with people around the globe. He’s developed deep friendships through the car community and even earned a sponsorship with Toyo Tires. Featured on Super Street magazine and its calendar, Moe’s Supra has become an icon in its own right. Through his build, Moe hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams, whether that’s owning a Supra or simply following their passion.
Moe’s advice to aspiring car builders? Enjoy the journey. He emphasizes patience, proper planning, and learning from others to avoid the pitfalls of a rushed project. For Moe, building a car is more than just the final product—it’s about the memories made along the way.
