Powerhouse Racing Supra TT Single Turbo System
Please note that all PHR turbochargers are shipped un-clocked and must be rotated in order to line up oil feed and drain lines. After installing the exhaust manifold, the turbocharger should be mounted to the exhaust manifold with all bolts loose on exhaust housing and compressor housing. Rotate the center cartridge until oil inlet faces up and oil drain flange points straight down. Oil inlet and outlets should be lined up on a vertical plane so the oil drains straight down through the turbo housing. Then rotate the turbo compressor housing until the compressor outlet faces downward as shown in picture. There should be approximately 1-2" of clearance between the turbo compressor outlet and exhaust manifold. Install intercooler plumbing from the bottom up, after removing all plastic splash guard parts. Plastic splash guards must be trimmed for fitment AFTER installation of the intercooler plumbing. Wastegate dump tube outlet should face straight down toward the ground under engine bay. Removal of the small bracket underneath may be necessary for fitment of the wastegate dump tube outlet. HKS Wastegate hose connections should be chased with a 1/8" NPT pipe tap to allow insertion of supplied -4AN 90 degree hose fittings. There are four WG connection holes, two on each side. Choose which side suits your installation best, and use that side ONLY. Use supplied plugs to plug connections on the opposite side of WG. Top port of wastegate (toward threaded adjustment screw) goes to electronic boost controller "out" port, or is left un-connected without EBC. Bottom port of wastegate (away from threaded adjustment screw) goes to turbocharger compressor housing -4AN 90 degree fitting supplied. Please note that ALL fittings are supplied loose, and must be tightened with appropriate thread sealant before use!
